Idaho Juniors United FC Welcomes Tamiko Davila as Director of Soccer Operatio
Idaho Juniors United FC is proud to announce Tamiko Davila as our new Director of Soccer Operations. Tamiko brings decades of coaching and leadership experience spanning youth, high school, and international levels — and most recently served as Director of Player Development at Slammers FC, the #1 ranked youth soccer club in America and reigning ECNL Overall Club National Champions.
Why Tamiko is the Perfect Fit for IJUFC
Elite Club Experience
At Slammers FC, Tamiko helped shape one of the most competitive and successful youth programs in the nation. His knowledge of the ECNL national championship model and how to develop players for top collegiate and professional pathways will now directly benefit our boys’ and girls’ programs.
Balanced Boys & Girls Leadership
From directing girls’ high school soccer at Costa Mesa High School to running boys’ elite squads at Newport Mesa SC, Tamiko has proven he can lead across all age groups and genders — a vital asset for a unified club like ours.
Director-Level Operations
His experience as Director of Soccer & Tournament Director at Newport Mesa SC translates directly to overseeing our competitive program structure, tournament planning, and multi-team alignment.
International & ODP Pedigree
Tamiko has coached with the Costa Rica Youth National Team, contributed to Turks & Caicos National Team staff during Caribbean Cup qualifiers, and worked within the Olympic Development Program (ODP). That international exposure elevates the standard of training and player identification in Idaho.
Top Licensure & Player Development Success
As a USSF “A” License coach, Tamiko brings the highest level of U.S. Soccer certification into our environment. He’s guided youth teams to championships and played a role in sending countless players into college and beyond.
Modern Development Philosophy
At Newport Mesa SC, he helped integrate the West Ham United International Academy methodology — experience that ensures Idaho Juniors will benefit from a structured, progressive, and professional player pathway.
What This Means for IJUFC Families
A unified game model across all age groups.
Stronger college and pro pathways for both boys and girls.
Consistent coach education and player-first training standards.
The infusion of national championship-winning methods right here in Idaho.
We are excited for the expertise, vision, and energy Tamiko brings to Idaho Juniors United FC. Please join us in giving him a warm welcome as we continue building one of the premier soccer programs in the Northwest.
Welcome to the family, Tamiko!
